A lot of disinformation already being put out by the UK's establishment media reporting on the Holborn & St Pancras by-election, so let's get a grip on reality for a moment.

Keir Starmer quit the seat because he's a careerist liar, but also quite possibly to pettily stress out his successor Andy Burnham, who's played it brilliantly short-term. How has he done so?

He's done it by (albeit temporarily) fending off both left and far-right by co-opting the Green Party's message of hope even without any clear groundbreaking policy to back up the rhetoric in this time of Late Capitalism.

The Greens are arguably the only major party standing up for workers, wealth redistribution, immigrants, trans rights, social security, UBI, climate action, the right to protest, and Palestine - to name a few - as answers to the problems of our time.

Sure enough, Green leader Zack Polanski, according to every single poll I checked week after week, was always going to lose this by-election in what is traditionally a safe Labour seat.

Constantly largely ignoring all the policies above, of course, the establishment media were ready and waiting to pounce if a certain motion was passed at the Green Party conference days before the by-election - a motion on Zionism as racism - because they know what worked to destroy Corbynism.

That motion did indeed pass, and ever the apologists for Israeli genocide, right on cue the establishment media have since not only given it disproportionate coverage in the run-up to the by-election, but have since the by-election framed the outcome as a direct result of that single motion.

As predicted by polls all along, Labour have held onto the seat - but incredibly, the Greens tripled their vote share. Polanski says voters told him they were voting Labour to give Burnham a chance, and now he has that chance, he added, let's see what he does with it.

Yes, let's see. Polanski lost to a Labour candidate who is essentially a pro-Israel, Palantir-sponsored Starmer ally, claiming voters instead told her they were "scared" by the Greens motion (if you believe she has the credibility to accurately convey doorstep sentiment, in a party rebuilt on lies).

But Polanski is right, and we will see what Burnham does with this chance. The budget's on its way to reveal his continuation of cruel, painful Starmer economics. The rhetoric will slip away to reveal the actual policies of this transphobic, pro-genocide, anti-civil liberties, status quo government.

This will be, as I've constantly predicted since before the last general election, utterly catastrophic for Labour and if, by the next general election, the Greens aren't in a strong position - unable to weather the media storm - the far right will likely seize power.

Continuing the strategy they successfully utilised against Corbynism and Momentum et al, transphobic Labour Party chair Bridget Phillipson now claims there is antisemitism in the Green Party. Predictable, from the playbook. But it won't save them when people with no improvement in their lives vote.

Interestingly, at the same time, she declines to rule out a future pact with the Greens, all to cynically keep leftist voters onside - when there is, in fact, little chance of such a pact. (Not least because by then the seats will be either Labour's or Green's, if not far right.) Disingenuous.

So once against the British establishment have their system locked down across halls of power and mass media -- and they'll be just fine with even greater authoritarianism to continue to have it stay that way. That is, if we let them.
