My childhood PS2 finally gave up the ghost. Anyone know if the graphics processor is replaceable or fixable for a novice solderer?

That is going to be a big old no buddy Anything involving deseating a chip etc isn't for the faint of heart I know how to do it and I wouldn't do it. If you're sentimental about the console I'd just buy another of the same model and swap the board honestly
