I am almost certain this photo will be presented during the Senate Hearings on the stability of Pete Hegseth. Maybe Brett Kavanaugh can step in as a sympathetic witness. And Amy Klobuchar can offer Pete a glass of water and pair of aspirin to help with his hangover.

Wow, the picture in that looks like he's playing a part in a comedy about someone who is drunk. If you gave me a wine bottle and told me to look as drunk as possible I'm not sure I could pull it off as well as he does.

Say this on-air, please. I don't think the Senate is reflective of "We the people". "We the people" have guts, and don't take the SH*T. You send me, even a handful, that can't get confirmed, a NO vote on them all. The Senate is required to represent "We the people", NOT Trump.

As a teacher, I keep my beer drinking at school to Sundays when no one else is about, and I'm marking essays. As the afternoon wears on, I go a bit easier on grading. So, I have to grade them randomly for fairness. That's professionalism.

His weakness is public. I know having served 20+ yrs in the Mil, every senior mil official, Defence Attache, Defence Minister he visits would make it their solemn mission to get him s**t faced. if he went to Russia there would be 5 hookers in his room and the kompromat would be significant.

I'm a recovering Alcoholic. No one who succeeded at recovering ever did it for anyone else but themselves. This guy is so far in denial and has no real intent to stop drinking. He's a danger to US National security.

Alcoholics do not stop drinking until they hit rock bottom. I have two reformed alcoholics in my family and there was nothing to do to get them to stop until they hit the bottom and decided to seek help. Promises to stop, cut back, etc., are useless.

There are THREE reasons he is qualified in Trumps eyes. He served in the Mil (albeit as a juniorish officer). He is on TV. And he will do what Trump says without question.

Yes, Donald's definition of "qualified" = will do whatever I tell him to do. Plus Donald's need to ALWAYS tell a story: "Pete was in the military, and blah blah blah" (what I heard Donald say). I'm sure that he would spin Hegseth's Fox week-end hosting some way to make it sound "good."
