Personally, I would not trust the USA if they do anything short of something similar to the Nuremberg trials. Everyone complicit in the fascist takeover and war crimes absolutely must be convicted to ensure that there are actual conciquences. Otherwise anything positive happening would be temporary.

Don’t stop at the current administration either, put Bush, Clinton and Obama on the stand for their war crimes as well. Bring in oligarchs like Elon Musk for causing harm to millions by cutting aid. Convict all the other oligarchs that provided monetary support to anyone responsible for atrocities.
