rhythm games live and die on their visuals just as much as the music behind it, something i feel like is a very understated part of the genre and a lot of rg devs these days are nailing it. big ups also to rift of the necrodancer and bits & bops which weren't featured but deserve similar praise too!

also i am biased but ill flag beatblock as a strong release too. maybe when its out of early access this year and the team brings their full swathe of funky levels with insane visuals it'll be worthy of a feature too :)
