I think the worst part is that I genuinely think nothing will be done by leadership since all the people who would have fought to stop this were kicked or forced out years ago to the margins. The Foundation was co-opted by Amazon and corporate interests. Just demoralizing to see

i think its safe to say no one wants him in the community, but so far he doesn’t appear to be “in the community” anyways. We cannot force ppls language choice but were also not forced to platform everyone

Also fucked up to do a keynote for the tool you made, then shit on it in front of everyone who built their careers on it, and then have the gall to also shit on another language but whatever who cares my AI wrote it. It’s like every week this month this guy keeps poisoning things I like
