As an independent, who represents you in any political body? We aren't a parliamentary system, so your special interests/preferences are special to no organized force except one of two parties. If you don't like these parties, join one and help change it. That's how we got here in the first place.

Yes, now, because of the takeover after Reagan. But it's not irreversible over time. If Repugnicans lose big enough for enough election cycles, more reasonable people will step into the void. It's not healthy for a two-party system to be so incapable of compromises and dialog to govern.

Sorry, you all, I'm not in battle mindset anymore. 🤷‍♀️In hug good people mode. I just don't see any way to work with what is left in the Republican party, and some of those people have been there my whole life. The Democrats look wonderful to me, not rotting mush that wants to infect me, or kill me...
