No, come on, this is not realistic at all. Cats would never agree to have an emperor ruling them. They are anarchists. Unless of course he's the only one who thinks he's the emperor. Well, him and a bunch of his non-feline subjects.

My feline overlords would observe that they are the dominant beings. They have simply properly delegated care for the dwelling, hunting, and whatever else it is I get up to when neglecting them to the human servants. They allow that their food is usually prompt, toys and treats are acceptable.
