Temporary Accounts have been implemented on the Minecraft Wiki That means that when you edit without creating an account your IP address will no longer be shown, and instead you'll be given a random name using some Minecraft-related words like... NetheriteSpiderCrab!

Minecraft Wiki EN

@minecraft.wiki

Other details: - This temporary account will expire after 90 days and you'll be assigned a new temp account if you edit again after that. - Only a limited number of trusted users are able to view the IP addresses of temporary accounts where necessary to combat abuse.
