It is so weird and scary being in Minnesota right now. Yesterday we had the first verified ICE incidents in my neighborhood. They rammed a car on Snelling. I feel myself getting a little more filled with dread each day, and at some point will I even feel safe stepping outside?

I support on Patreon but was happy to see it on the public feed this morning! Was able to send it to a coworker after telling her about it and she wanted to check it out. Feels silly to say “hope you’re doing well”, but I hope you’re managing as best you can! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us

We're here for you, no matter what. I'll just echo what everyone here has already said. I feel powerless being so far away, but we're signal-boosting messages & videos from Minnesotans over on Threads & archiving the evidence of ICE's crimes, while sharing the true community spirit we know there.💙

If any of us out-of-staters can support at all, please share those opportunities! Contributions to the Immigration Law Center of Minnesota and prayers for safety for observers and protestors is all I got right now, but would love to do more. So appreciated this conversation.

Looking from the outside in, news out of America has felt especially unreal in the last several weeks and months; if it wasn't happening in front of your eyes, I don't know how you'd believe it's real. It's disgusting it's happening anywhere, but I'm sorry it's happening on your streets.
