A benefit to choosing a really popular editor theme is that the theme is ported to every other tool you use and you can get a consistent experience.

Kanagawa was reasonably popular in the neovim space, but I've recently switched to Rose Pine and it is as prolific as Nord or Dracula.

Combining this with how I use Nix and home-manager, I get a consistent experience across my computers as well. I like to use a different theme variant on my work computer than my personal computer. But also like to be able to switch to the light variant when I got work outside.
