The answer: fund builders. The atproto grant pool was $10K. $4,800 went out to 8 projects, then it closed in 2025. TOKIMEKI got $500 in 2024. It now runs a few hundred dollars a month in the red. What happened to the rest of the pool? Details (in Japanese): plurality.leaflet.pub/3mvxh4ih3622a
