I was next to (one of) the AI slop booths at DragonCon and all I got was this lousy t-shirt. So, as you may or may not know, there was a booth selling AI slop images printed on acrylic panels at DragonCon. They were in booth a-10. I was in a-11. Here’s what happened from my perspective.

ReedPop already has an anti-ai policy. As does Nerd Street. I don’t know if SDCC has one. We all know that FanExpo allegedly has one for AA, but not the vendor hall.

If Fan Expo has a policy, they don't follow it. I heard of some AI slop in AA, and also temu crochet resellers, which affected me personally since I do crochet

I hope the rest of the cons catch up and follow suit. nip the AI slop at the bud so that artists can have their rightful seat at a table
