I am about to start my weekly check of my voter registration, because that is part of what voting in the South is. Checking weekly for the months leading up to an election to see if I've been purged. I hate this.

If you can't make it to the polls, you can vote absentee with a valid excuse. You have to fill out the absentee request form for your county & make sure they receive it at least 7 days before an election. Your ballot has to arrive before noon on election day. www.sos.alabama.gov/alabama-vote...

If you want to bring your ballot in you have to do it the day before the election and you have to put it in their sweet hands yourself unless you have a qualified medical emergency so you're like... in a coma, I guess.
