My PC blue screens when starting into safemode. It will boot fine normally, but can't take any updates. I sense a rebuild coming up. Used to enjoy that, now I fear I'm too old to be arsed. That's a troubling thing to write...

A long time ago. Its been basically busted for over a month at this point and my ability to be arsed to fix it is below zero. No matter how good my backups, I know I'll lose stuff and I just don't want to deal with it. I'll keep looking for repair options.

I get it. Tech should just work, and so often it doesn't. My WiFi extender (running on a different name to my main WiFi) died a month ago. I finally got off my arse and connected up all the devices yesterday. A full month after it died. I've likely missed a few things, but they can't be important?
