The acting head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Cameron Hamilton, has been removed from his job. Hamilton's removal comes after he testified at a congressional hearing that he did not believe FEMA should be eliminated, which is something the president has said he is considering.

Eliminating FEMA would require congressional action as it was established by act of congress, not by presidential edict. I really thought the wizened ones at MSNBC would know this.
