Michelle Obama said Americans shouldn't look to her to run for the nation's highest office. During a live conversation with actor Tracee Ellis Ross in NY, the former first lady said the United States is "not ready for a woman" to be president, because the country has a "lot of growing up to do."

'the country has a lot of growing up to do.' It's worse than that. The country is regressing toward adolescent and even juvenile delinquent attitudes and behaviors. Those in the Trump administration are alarming evidence of that trend. A woman? The country isn't even ready for an adult as President.

Palin: Mayor/Gov/almost VP. Boris Johnson vs Zelenskyy. Electoral ladder gigs as “qualification” is bogus - produces embellished resumes & political duds - does not confer ability. MO: 2x Ivy trained lawyer integral to a hard-won historic presidency has more gravitas in pinky & runs rings around any

I am one of the guilty ones, I admit I fee she’s right. So women should start running for their municipal offices, mayor, BOE or councilor mbr. They can also run for state senate, house rep and governor. Last step move up to run for Fed Senate or House Rep. My point is women NEED to out # the men.

She's making a serious point that every man has ponder (because I'm guessing this isn't an issue with most women); we have had two solid, well-qualified Women run for President, and twice the American people voted for a corrupt, immoral, convicted felon insurrectionist white male.

After voting for two strong, over qualified women, I had to finally admit this to myself. I'm 64, and I had hoped to see a female President in my lifetime. I am so Goddamned tired of old white men being our only choice.

She's right. I am not happy that she is right, but she is. I have worked for women and for me it is not or ever been an issue. We do have a lot of growing up to do.
