On 16 October, a drone strike hit Almawashi market in Nyala, South Darfur, Sudan, killing at least four people, including a child. Wounded people were brought to the Ministry of Health Nyala Teaching hospital, which we support. Medical teams treated eight people.

Once again, we call on the Sudanese Armed Forces, and all parties to the conflict, to show respect for civilian lives and stop attacks on markets and other civilian areas. Civilians must be spared from this hideous violence.
