Should be how to survive the tRump bullshit administration

🇬🇧 . In a "warm" London I go onto a much cooler New Zealand time😲 . During day I'm kipping, napping, reading in N facing room . Arise for brekkie about 21:30 - if still hot make that 23:00 . Work n play til way after sunrise - too hot? Retire to bedroom again . Works for this 76y/o geezer 😃👍 .

The biggest extra heating in my house is cooking. I’ve been using a slow cooker outside the house plugged into the socket intended for powered garden tools. I’ve even baked a small loaf in the 4 litre slow cooker (45 mins, resting on non-stick paper, not touching cooker). Decent crumb, pale crust.

Just sent to my cousin. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Nothing is more important to the future of humanity!

Good information!!!

My tip is shut up we all know what works at 29-30 degrees and over that you need air conditioning especially if the humidity is high and it’s a lasting heat wave.

Done! Thank you for sharing this info! ☺️

I do this every day.

Draw curtains on east-facing windows too as that's where the sun rises. Then, later in the day close the curtains on west-facing windows as they'll get most of the afternoon sun.

Please, spread this important message far and wide !

Wake up at 4 AM like we do in the desert 💚

Curtains on East and West facing windows must also be drawn. Plus, these tips are good but not enough during intense and lasting heat waves. When nights are 30°C and beyond, you can get up as early as you want, your home won't get any cooler.

Made a noticeable difference in ranch style in Arizona

At 4000ft in SE AZ, nights are cool but still. Put fans in wi6dows to draw in cooler air.

Oh my god. The whole planet has been so willfully blind.

I'm in Washington. Currently 59 degrees, so my doors and windows are open. It's Redmond, so not close to the wildfires. Also no wind, so that's a help with potential smoke. But I do close my doors/windows when it hits 80. Fans run with bowls of ice water in front of them, one fan turned outward.

I live in California. Stay in the shade and drink water instead of soft drinks.
