I've been traveling this week, and ended up in a rental apartment with unsecure WiFi (no password). So I used my phone as a hotspot. On Friday evening, the mobile network started to struggle and went down to 3G, so I had a unique opportunity to test the web of 2026 with 3G internet.

TLDR: it sucks! 99.99% of websites are way too heavy to load, even the ones I expected to be more or less static, like the GitHub repos, news, and even some landings! I still remember the time when 3G came to the country as fast mobile internet, and, damn, it felt fast back then! Well, not anymore.
