Windows 11 – the only operating system where selecting and deleting a file in the currently active Explorer tab will instead quietly delete a file selected in an inactive background Explorer tab. Seriously, fuck Microsoft. Blowing billions on AI, but can't get basic functionality to work correctly.

Done editing, moved output to NAS, switched to Explorer tab containing the source material, selected & deleted it – nothing. Because Windows 11 instead deleted the output folder selected in the inactive Explorer tab, which broke the move to NAS & lost it all. 2 hours of work lost. Who do I sue?
