Windows 11 – the only operating system where selecting and deleting a file in the currently active Explorer tab will instead quietly delete a file selected in an inactive background Explorer tab. Seriously, fuck Microsoft. Blowing billions on AI, but can't get basic functionality to work correctly.

Just happened again. I move my output to NAS, switch Explorer tabs, select files in the now-active tab, press Delete – and while I'm doing so, the move process finishes, SELECTS THE MOVED FILES ON THE NAS IN THE BACKGROUND TAB THAT IS INACTIVE AND FOCUSES INPUT ON THAT INSTEAD. Output gone again.

Seriously Microsoft, who ever is responsible for this needs to lose their job, immediately. You can not be serious. Deleting people's files because your OS is faulty and doesn't handle input focus correctly between multiple tabs, that's a dangerous game. Hopefully very expensive for you soon.
