Being autistic is saying "There are four lights" in response to obvious lies/warped storytelling and knowing that barely anyone will get the reference. Masking is holding yourself back and not explaining to anyone what you just said.

I get the reference!!! I cry every time I see that episode, and I think it’s a perfect allegory for what it’s like to be autistic when everyone is mentally torturing you into seeing “five lights” your whole life
