That’s more old timey double c tuning, not the open g that bluegrass tends to use. I play in both but love c the most

Oh interesting! I found that medley to have a delcious lyrical / plangent air... is that down to the tuning? Where would "Duelling banjos" fit into that framing

Dueling banjos is in the narrow (but rad) open g bluegrass 3 finger picks style I play clawhammer, 2 finger and pinch styles. My 3 finger skills are weak but I do practice it! I can play foggy mountain breakdown tho 🤘
