That's on the roadmap~ (no ETA for that at all though) - but it needs proper design/proposal. My focus will be on JS/npm-related improvements for now. If you'd like to come up with how this could work - that would be an awesome contribution

Yeah, we'll likely need to start with organizing our internal npm/pnpm/yarn as plugins first, some kind of shape that we can iterate over time and expose it later on. We had done a nice initial re-organization in v3 and we can look into making it more concrete next.
