Opt-in vs. opt-out isn't a technicality. Many platforms bury data usage in ToS and make you the product by default. We think that's backwards. You should make a deliberate choice, not discover one was made for you.

We've turned down several data licensing deals worth millions. That's not a small thing to say publicly. We're saying it anyway.
