What's most disheartening about the "AI is not useful/can't reason/is just a calculator" discourse from @kathryntewson.bsky.social et. al. is that it just blows past the sense of loss that @radishharmers.bsky.social and @3blue1brown.com describe as human creativity cedes ground to AI reasoning.
