Given how problematic Boy Scouts was when I was a kid, I’m not all that surprised they’re capitulating It’s sad though, my Dad was a troop leader and actively fought against bigoted ideas like this within our community Scouts returning to its hyper Christian roots… so disappointing 😔

Back in the day, the Christian parents were rejecting any boys who weren’t Christian… or weren’t white… My Dad fought hard to let more people of any background join our troop… Ultimately though, he was overruled by the higher ups and forced to kick them out Boy Scouts is pretty close minded imo
