As an aside, when I first discovered this song, I shared it far and wide, so my friends could enjoy it, too. Later, I learned that this song had given a friend of mine the courage to take the first steps out of an abusive relationship. That makes it even more special to me.

Yeah. It's a nice story, and it adds to my experience of the music. I can now not hear the song without thinking about that.

First time I've heard this song, but am immediately adding it to my faves to listen to again. I almost did a similar thing & went for a song off my playlist about love/death/bones for this prompt, but figure I'll save that for the 'Ending' prompt in a couple days. It's uplifting, just in a sad way?

It is, but it's a difficult feeling to put a name on. Like, it's comforting and accepting, even if it's also sad.
