Joe Biden, in any condition of health or ill, is a better man than Vance can ever hope to be. Vance is the guy in the movie about whom the audience cheers when he’s eaten by the giant shark in the third act.

Oh yes. He telegraphs his cartoon evil within minutes of his initial on-screen entrance. Then it’s just eagerly anticipating his just rewards as the payoff for enduring his utter buffoonishness for most of the picture.
