Let no one be fooled by Macron. He's a velvet Trump. He talks a lot, he never does what he says he does. In diplomacy, this can still have its effect. In politics, it is the TRiUMPh of illiberalism. Macron lost the elections and refuses to appoint a PM from the winning camp. Looks familiar?

You didn't win the election, only a relative majority. The entirety of the left combined was less than 50%. And the fact is that more than 50% of people did not vote for you and do not want a PM from LFI.

Mec, on te dit que Macron n'a pas gagné les élections, et tu sautes direct sur un type qui rappelle juste ce fait incontestable en lui jetant du LFI à la gueule. En Allemagne, il y a également une majorité relative, exactement d'ailleurs comme le précédent gouvernement de Macron.

He is, unfortunately, one of the most if not the most hated french president since Pétain in 1945. For all the wrong reasons, mind you, but here we are. I'm glad he is our president though, any of the other candidates at the time would have been a sad alternative imo
