The AI Bubble is a rare time bomb situation where I am both horrified and greatly looking forward to when it finally blows up. It's hard to decide which one I feel more.

Why horrified? I'm not arguing, just asking. I'm going to feel some pity towards those who heavily rely on it. Returning to full-time work is going to be jarring.

I think you’re underestimating the breadth and severity of the consequences. A lot of companies will go bankrupt and employ nobody at all. Investment savings will vanish, preventing people from retiring and leaving vacancies (or forcing the pile to un-retire and rejoin the workforce).
