Great stuff but if you have 'prisoners per 100,000' you should also have 'mass shootings per 100,000'.

Good point! Though in this case, it would only make the US look a tiny bit less extreme, given how huge the American number is compared with any other country. This is what the data look like.

109/6=18.2 If you transform it into per capita' the ratio is 3.8. Not quite the same effect.
