I absolutely won't trade up to HW4, because 1) Elon has become evil, and 2) it's not yet known whether HW4 is enough for truly unsupervised FSD. I'm sticking with HW3 until Tesla makes good on their hardware upgrade promise for FSD owners.

They need to address what's going to happen with HW3 soon! They can't be dragging it out. They owe their customers swift answers or class action lawsuits will follow. This is beyond frustrating!

Tesla did say there would eventually be a hardware upgrade for HW3 FSD owners. But until Tesla feels they are ready to deploy truly unsupervised FSD, it's unknown how much hardware capability is required. So, we on HW3 sit and wait. :-(

At least we’re getting end to end highway by the end of the year with 12.6. Seems like they’re moving fast with one set of hardware and backporting it to HW3 periodically. If FSD 13 is faster and simpler as they claim, I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t run on the older hardware.

End of the year huh? It's Jan 6 and I'm still waiting (HW3 Y)
