I regret the futility of this remarkable research and reporting effort. Biden’s State Dept "asked Israel for an explanation but didn’t get one." As usual the Israeli military said the incident is "under review." Trump's State Dept couldn't care less and Americans are inured to the daily death count.
@NPR I hope you don't intend to cave to the Fascists taking over this country. I've supported NPR since the 80s, but if you acquiesce to an Authoritarian like Trump, intent on turning our Democratic Republic into a Dictatorship, I'm done with you forever. bsky.app/profile/maxt...
NPR CEO Katherine Maher says she regrets her years-old tweets calling Trump a fascist and a deranged racist: "I regret those tweets, I wouldn't tweet them against today. They represented a time when I was reflecting on something that the president had said rather than who he is."
Your source for "83% of Palestinians believe western values should be eliminated"? This study "revealed a notable shift in attitudes, initially characterized by belief in the superiority of Western values, followed by a decline in faith after the war." www.nature.com/articles/s41598-024-60147-x
