Everything Americans and the world put their trust in is now a heap of smoldering ashes. Our institutions will have to be created anew at some point or we will descend into a propaganda state like Putin’s Russia. Not even the rich and powerful can benefit from this destruction.

He can pressure them to remove it and that is horrific and scary, but we all know he was impeached twice. He can pretend he wasn’t but we all remember.

Why doesn't your message point out that Smithsonian also says it will take a "significant amount of time and funding" to update the exhibit. In other words, the Smithsonian will avoid pointing out historical facts that their Dear Leader dislikes for who knows how long.
