Quite low. We get it. But, Donald Schaffner stops just short of accepting responsibility for his opinion with a guarantee of health unaffected by consumption of these shrimp or the addition of them to HIS own diet.

Well, at least it's not strontium-90. Remember strontium-90? I do! It was in ALL the papers back in the 50s and 60s. Remember newspapers? We used to rely on them for factual news. Yes! Really!

It's hard to remember what you've never seen or been exposed to. There are two Post Gen X generations who likely have never seen, read or know what a newspaper is. But you make a strong point.

That's why I make a point of speaking out. I have been through much of this before. My grandson is coming of age now, which I think based on past experiences is a rather perilous time.

Indeed, it's a perilous time and you're right. Many older generations of people used to say if I could be 20 again. No way, I'd like to be a child, teen or in my 20's in this perilous time. Every aspect of living, school, the job market, scams etc. is more dangerous and complex.

That wasn't the issue. Cesium-137 is a common industrial and medical material and it was previously transported in the same container as the shrimp.

Despite the problem, it's kind of amazing that they can track everywhere it potentially went. Some stores even notify you of specific purchases if they know your ID, such as Sam's Club.

Walmart isn't any cheaper compared to most grocery stores and local farmer's markets. It's not elitist to boycott one of the world's most exploitive and greedy corporations.

What I would like to know, is where is the accountability? The news says WalMart asks you to "throw them out." What happened to returning them? Disposing of safely? Getting your money back? Shutting down the company's location where thus happened?

I had a conversation with a young man in his 30s making the case for an economy free of regulations with a hands off approach to allowing the free market to exercise without restraint, to be held accountable by the people. Q: How would the public know about radioactive shrimp without regulations?

I guess MAGA Walmart thought the tRump administration’s FDA had ended all federal testing and they could get away with selling it. Soon, Walmart, give dear leader a little more time and all safety regulations will be gone. Then you can profit all you want from tainted products.
