I don't know about NPR but I post 3x for my time zone, US East Coast and Europe zones.

I recently bought a used minivan, not as old as Vanny and it has many many miles to go yet. In the cup holder in the back I found a blob of sticky stuff filled with pink and purple glitter the detailer missed. This former kidmobile is now going to take me to our national parks and new adventures.

Passing on a used car 'on the fritz' is passing on headaches and unexpected costs. Donate it for scrap. Pass in your gently used but running fine vehicles to another family.

The parts are made of materials that can be recycled and have a great deal of value.

Donate it to your local NPR/PBS station to help support them financially…

Donate it to an animal rescue. They can sell it and use the profits for their rescues.

We're in a generation of products that are make'em to break'em. We had a dishwasher in brand new condition inside & out only 12 yrs old we had to literally throw in the garbage because they stopped making the electrical part that lit up the buttons. We need to require Co. to make parts 25 yrs!

Don't donate it to Kars For Kids, whatever you do. Their commercial jingle alone disqualifies them. 🤪

I donated my silver bullet with 197k miles on her. I don’t know the process, but I prefer to believe she went to a farm with other shiny BMW’s to do zoomies with. 🥺

If that was a Honda, it'd be just broken in at 183,000 miles, but since it's a Chrysler, that's considered more of a miracle.

I have a homeless man whose vehicle just lost its transmission. He can't move it from the parking he lives on with his furbaby, aka security alert system, his emotional support baby. Oh, how this vehicle would protect him from the elements.🥺I unfortunately am living on a borrowed lot & can't provide
