Have you ever heard the phrase "Never again" in relation to NATO? Do you really think Putin is going to negotiate a peace deal and stop? Because that's nieve. He took Crimea. That didn't stop him. He came back for the rest of Ukraine.

Perhaps if NPR cared more about simple facts & less about propaganda for weapons manufacturers, the public would know the truth about the 11 year long war in Ukraine. Ironically, propaganda is what brought down the Soviet Union.
