Remember that it was SCOTUS that gave DOGE access to SS data. A non-government agency with no congressional authority. Of course MAGA GOP never question DOGE’s existence. So of course Musk’s gang of fascist f*ckers were going to send copies out. DoJ should be prosecuting, but won’t.

SCOTUS approved of Musk’s college interns gaining access to this data. They moved it all offsite and we’ve been told nothing about where or why. How MSM has failed to follow up on this is beyond me. The biggest DATA heist in US History.

Alaska law: businesses that experience a data breach must report it "in the most expeditious time possible" or face fines of up to $500 for each resident who was not provided with notice. This includes Social Security number. A class action suit states against the feds could get some traction.

"Potential misuse"... the whole DOGE thing was a scam to get copies of each and every computer system in the US Government including the Treasury department. I have zero doubt that they installed backdoors into the same and are ripping us off as we speak.

Under the Constitution, only Congress can create federal departments and set their authority. A president can’t simply invent a new office and give it access to Social Security databases. That kind of move bypasses the law and raises major separation-of-powers concerns.

Social Security records hold extremely sensitive data on millions of Americans. Any attempt by DOGE staff to access that information without clear legal authority and oversight is a major breach of trust. People depend on that system to protect their private information.

Unauthorized access to Social Security records isn’t just bad practice, it may violate the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Those laws exist specifically to prevent people from digging into sensitive government databases without legal authority.

They need to get Musk in front of a committee under oath and explain what they did with the data they collected from social security
