In my house there are 7 full time doggos and by Monday, we'll have 2 more for a month! Of the 9 total, 6 of them freak with thunder and fireworks. The Thunder Shirt did not work on any of them, but Benadryl and being under a blanket, on a bed or sofa with me or daughter, does! I need a bigger bed!

And combat veterans . . .

It’s not just dogs and cats!! All animals can suffer, including farm & wild animals. NOT to mention the elderly, vulnerable people, and veterans!!! But oh, I forgot, our President MAGA doesn’t do tributes to vets or the vulnerable, only oligarch dictators, so why wld he care about their welfare

Put a few drops of active CBD oil in their mouth and they will calm right down and often fall sound asleep.

Dogs and cats are not the only beings negatively impacted by fireworks “shows”. Veterans with ptsd, children and adults with noise sensitivity, ALL wildlife…… but sure, if it’s only the cats and dogs that will give motivation to move to alternative displays of celebration, let’s use that.

I don't like fireworks, they are and always be to me... weapons, explosives. And I'm reminded of how many of my veteran friends had to deal with that in war zones.

Also trouble for people with ptsd.

I honestly don’t understand what they are celebrating. America has gone from a Democracy to Fascism.

Trouble for animals AND wildfires.

and those of us with no pets who live in too close together homes that have to go to work the next day but the very illegal fireworks continue to go on until 10, 11, midnight because that's all that matters to these people
