I grew up in Spokane. My childhood home is in the danger area. I don't know if it's torched already.

Did I miss where Canada is upping their US sanctions/tariffs due to 'poisoning smoke' from failure to rake forests?

Well, smoke rises so since Canada is above us on the map the smoke will definitely go there. s/

If asked, they would. We fully recognize that it is the everyday people that are impacted by this. Unlike the Orange Monster, when people need help and they reach out, we supply it. We don’t look at the “imaginary lines“ that the Orange Monster talks about we look at the need to help.

Which is doubly ironic, because Spokane is basically a Red town. From my distant past there, I know some Trump-loving people who are at risk from the fires. I wish them no harm -- but I'm not going to ask if they're OK.

It's a blue state, so probably not. Canada will help, though.
