It's outsourcing its responsibilities to the people who happen to have the biggest hearts.

When a cultural treasure or an everyday working person faces those kinds of hurdles, it highlights a system that often fails to match the generosity and care those individuals poured into the world.

wealthy or successful person may voluntarily give enormously to society. That generosity should be celebrated. But a functioning public system should never implicitly say: “Because you have been kind and successful, we can leave you holding the bill for problems the system was supposed to address.”

Dolly Parton's legacy as a major philanthropist is the America I love. Maybe more multi billionaires will follow suit instead of hoarding it just so the can say they have it but I'm not holding my breath.

Dolly was a Christian.Her actions showed that through her love for others. You can see on the "Five" how Joy Bahar treated Dolly incredibly bad and Dolly responded in her Christian fashion. We all need to take a lesson from Dolly. Let's all live like Christ would have us live and love one another.
