It seems like they issue these reports annually (if not more often) and that the people in positions to act on them continuously ignore them

We've already passed the point of no return as it pertains to climate change. Nothing is going to stop what is to come. All you have to do is look at all the wildfires, floods, and other weather-related calamities taking place across the globe right now. It's already started.

Steve Jobs once said that death is “very likely the single best invention of life" because it is life's change agent that clears out the old to make way for the new. I hope the new aren’t making their climate decisions based on lack of experience of the old climate.
