Tbh, I see nonVegan climate activism as an active part of the problem, & this appears to be yet 1 more group ignoring the leading driver of deforestation, biodiversity loss, water depletion/pollution etc, hence 1 more group assuring people that they too don’t need to change on a fundamental level 1/

/2 I hope I’m wrong (as I only scrolled so far), if so will gladly follow. But again, tbh, it’s hard to take any climate org seriously if the imperativeness of a plant based transition (only immediate means of crisis mitigation) isn’t at the forefront of their messaging

WTF NRDC????? 🚨☢️ @axios.com is reporting that the @nrdc.org has gone pro-nuke, bending to Google energy demands for AI data centers. At a moment when environmental groups need the backbone to stand together against the “renaissance” myth, NRDC is apparently buckling. www.axios.com/2026/03/16/e...

axios.comExclusive: How AI's power demand shifts resistance to nuclear powerThe NRDC filed comments earlier this month in support of an early step toward restarting a nuclear power plant in Iowa.
