happy sunday! fonts.nuxt.com v1 is out 🎉 if you haven't tried it, here's how: 1️⃣ use `font-family` in css or tailwind ✅ ... and you're done! nuxt will detect the font, self-host it, and generate preloads + font metrics to cut layout shift + load time no configuration required ✨

👉 it's built with three other libraries that also just reached v1 🎂 ⚪ `unifont` - to resolve metadata ⚪ `fontaine` - to cut layout shift ⚪ `fontless` - to apply it agnostically for all vite-based frameworks ⚡

plus, some long-requested new features: 🎛️ arbitrary variable axes ✂️ subset fonts down to the glyphs you use 🏋️ named weights - `weights: ['medium', 'semibold']` ⚡ preload by subset or unicode range

oh, and the devtools panel is all new 💅 you can easily see every family resolved, which provider it comes from, where the face is used, and any warnings ... 👉 plus, it's built on devfra.me - a framework-neutral foundation for devtools from @antfu.me

devfra.meBuild a devtool once. Mount it anywhere.Devframe is a framework-neutral foundation for devtools. One definition becomes a Web Standard handler you can mount into any host framework, ship as a CLI or static report, and expose to coding agent...
