Looks like a 10-15 point polling miss in Michigan regardless of who wins. And people have been writing a lot of electability takes using this data. It’s dangerous out there folks be safe

What I have observed, canvassing for the Michigan Democratic Party, those numbers never felt right to me. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but we need to talk about ratfucked polling as a form of voter suppression.

I did the Ipsos polls for a few years and they’re complete bullshit. The questions are always asked in ways that are open to interpretation I.e. during the Biden years, “do you think the country is on the right track?” Well compared to Trump yes. Overall though no. But I have to answer Yes.
