I guess I'll put my view on on ai & llms out there since I've had time to think about it I think the tech itself is really nice and has a lot of potential for knowledge democratization. What I despise is the current implementation under capitalism where only a few big corpos own the cutting (1/5)

models. I love that open models are very usable now and I wish they continue to he able to follow. Also the rate at which datacenters are getting built while bypassing or handwaving regulations is alarming. We should slow down and plan this kind of infra. (I also think all telecom infra (2/5)

should be socialized, but that's another talk). I think that it's a shame that a certain barrier of entry to coding has been created. When I started coding, all you needed was a computer, time and dedication. Nowadays, there are essential two speeds based on if you can afford a claude sub (3/5)

I couldn't care less about copyright. Im fact I love that we are decompiling and recreating decades of proprietary software. your ai slop bores me. please put the tiniest time and effort to make your thing original and not cookie-cutter. big tech is bleeding money atm with this. I think (4/5)
