We can never take the text of the Constitution for granted, because the definition of the text is subject to the interpretation of SCOTUS. In short: the plain text of the Constitution is no safeguard from the Roberts Courts' right-wing ideology.

How in the he** did this even rise to the level of scotus? They should never have taken this up. Yet another reason to EXPAND THE COURT.

The Supreme Court has for decades invented spurious and dishonest reasons to twist the words of the constitution when they felt like it, and this court has taken it ever further, simply making up motivations and inventing false statistics and scenarios to decide cases on purely political grounds.

But 4 people who get to decide on these things ( though I don't even understand how they took this case ) thought those words mean nothing...DANGER AHEAD!
