What is Trump offering Putin as he announces a Russian diesel deal? Sanctions relief. Pressure on Ukraine to stop striking Russian refineries. All weeks before the midterms. I’ve seen how deals like this take shape. The real question is what America is giving up behind closed doors.

I think you may have it backwards. We don't need 14 hours worth of diesel. We produce more than we need. Putin has a great deal more to gain from the U.S. essentially abandoning the sanctions regime we established. The question is, what is Putin offering Trump?

How’s Trump’s “energy ceasefire” going? Russia hit Ukrainian energy infrastructure after his announcement. What did Putin agree to, and what are Americans getting in return? My latest Deep Dive follows the deal & the connections:

300,000 tons of diesel equates to approximately 2.25 million barrels. That amount will sustain the U.S. for 12-14 HOURS only. He made a deal with his devil brother for 12 hours of diesel.

NPR reported the amount of diesel we'll get from Russia is enough to last the US nine days.
